Equinicity Marin is located at the Golden Gate Dairy Stables in Muir Beach, CA.
The Golden Gate Dairy Stables, located in Muir Beach is a historic dairy farm that evolved into a horse boarding facility in the early 1970s. It is only a 15 minute drive from the Stinson Beach exit of Highway 101 not far from the Golden Gate Bridge and yet it feels worlds away surrounded by the breath-taking open space of the Golden Gate National Recreational Area (GGNRA).
Managed since 1998 by Ocean Riders of Marin, a National Park Service Park Partner, the mission of Ocean Riders is to preserve the historical presence of horses and ranching in Frank Valley while maintaining the integrity of the land, water, flora and fauna. Ocean Riders upholds sound principles of ecology by supporting education of watershed issues through various outreach programs, especially to under served youth, and promoting collaborative dialogue concerning the stewardship of the unique Redwood Creek watershed with the National Park Service, the Green Gulch Zen Center, and the Muir Beach Volunteer Fire Department, as well as the Muir Beach and wider Bay Area communities.
Equinicity Marin is proud to partner with Ocean Riders of Marin, a 501(c)3 non profit organization. Every Equinicity client and workshop helps support Ocean Riders of Marin’s community outreach programs for under-resourced communities. Click here to learn more about these programs.
